Malibu stages Notting Hill Carnival experiential event with help from Promotion Vehicles

Promotion Vehicles helped Malibu stage a big experiential event at the 2017 Notting Hill Carnival as part of the Pernod Ricard-owned brand’s 101 Days of #BecauseSummer campaign.
The aim of 101 Days of #BecauseSummer was to get fans to share their special summer experiences involving the Malibu drink. The successful campaign comprised films, digital activations, a social responsibility initiative and drinks inspiration.
#BecauseSummer was rolled out on the Malibu brand’s mobile and digital channels, and featured a raft of social media stars. The Epic Slowmo film kicked the whole thing off.
Working with the cool guys at Bugle Communications as part of the campaign, Malibu parked a #BecauseSummer-branded vintage Airstream trailer at the Notting Hill Carnival and offered revellers a free Malibu-themed makeover (crazy carnival face painting, lashings of glitter, etc.) in return for a selfie posted with the hashtag.
Promotion Vehicles supplied and branded the vintage Airstream trailer for the Malibu experiential event.
The palm tree-plastered #BecauseSummer trailer got some serious love. A whole load of people stopped by our old school Airstream and added some cool Malibu-style extra colour to the party.
