Promotion Vehicles helped Cadbury create its online Christmas experiential marketing campaign.
The #cadvent interactive advent-calendar-based campaign featured 24 stories of children delivering Christmas joy across the country. From 1 December, one #cadvent story was unveiled every day on the Cadbury UK social media channels.
The Christmas wish that Promotion Vehicles helped come true was revealed on 5 December. Maribel from Corby Glen wanted to surprise all the people in her village with chocolate. And that’s what Cadbury arranged.
The chocolate maker asked Maribel to invite everyone to the market square for a big surprise. On the day, with the streets lined with people, the surprised arrived: a special Cadbury’s truck. To much delight, the Cadbury’s truck was full of chocolate, which was handed out to everybody there.
Promotion Vehicles supplied and branded the 7.5-tonne truck and provided the driver for this part of Cadbury’s Christmas experiential marketing campaign.
Insider fact: the story was actually filmed in November (but it was still very Christmassy!). We worked alongside the clever people from production company Bare Films, which turned Maribel’s story into the confectionary giant’s festive TV advert.
Will we see our Cadbury truck in action again? All eyes are on the 2019 #cadvent campaign.
